Spring is a time to renew, enjoy the colorful rainbow of flowers, awake to birds chirping (although sometimes annoying when you have to wake up early to go to work), clean out the clutter that has been piling up in the closet and take time to enjoy life and count your blessings. Do something that puts a smile on your face whether its taking a stroll with your special someone, enjoying a warm cup of tea, getting lost in your favorite book, or donating to a charity.

These last few weeks have reminded me that life is indeed too short and we must enjoy and cherish every day because you never know what tomorrow may bring. So take the time to tell those you care for that you love them and if you grew up in a house like mine where the "L" word was forbidden, suck up your pride and send a simple note or email (technology is great).

Los Angeles County 12th Annual Komen Race for the Cure®!

On March 15th we walked 3.2 miles at the Pasadena Rose Bowl. We put our ipods on and enjoyed a 50 minute walk.

The Komen Race for the Cure Series raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship, and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.
